Bloating in the heat? this could be the reason

The majority of us experience bloating, gas, abdominal pain, etc., from time to time. The answer to the question is more suited to each individual than general information to stop bloating for everyone. For example, some of us have weak digestion. In contrast, others have solid digestive power. Making this discovery will prove to be most beneficial when choosing the right foods for you and discovering when your digestive strength is at its best.

Bloating cause

Bloating is caused by water retention due to sodium and potassium irregularity, hormonal activity, indigestion, overeating, kidney function, gut inflammation, or different heredity factors.
Still, bloating can be much more dangerous in summer compared to other seasons in a year. In summer, bloating worsens because the heat can cause the blood vessels and capillaries to expand and dilate, allowing more fluid to fill in the interstitial spaces between organs and tissues.

Bloating can have many causes. It can occur when you swallow too much air, when an excess of gas accumulates in the intestines, during the fermentation processes, or due to the impossibility of eliminating gases from the intestines. In some cases, bloating causes a noticeable swelling of the abdomen.

Sometimes it is necessary to use supplements. Food intolerance is beginning to dominate society, whether gluten, dairy, shellfish, nuts, etc. When the digestive tract recognizes a foreign food substance, i.e., indigestible, the microvilli fails to obtain adequate nutrition. The body mounts an immune response against the food particle, leaving a trail of inflammation inside the gut. Symptoms such as bloating, gas, abdominal cramps, and constipation may pursue in some cases.

Tip 1: Eat mindfully and slowly

Eating large meals can lead to bloating. Ensuring adequate chewing of your food can have two benefits – reducing the amount of air you swallow (which can cause bloating) & eating slower gives your body more time to signal full feelings.⠀

Tip 2: Limit sugar alcohols

sugar alcohols in high amounts can also lead to bloating. take less; then you will notice less bloating, so try to enjoy these in moderation or limit it overall.⠀

Tip 3: Watch your fiber intake

Eating way too much or too little fiber can also cause bloating, so find a happy medium! The recommended daily intake for females is 25g & 38g for males. People notice adverse effects, usually after 70g.

Tip 4: Mix in fermented foods or probiotic

probiotics found in fermented foods or a supplement can help improve the gut’s bacterial environment, helping reduce gas and bloating symptoms.⠀

Tip 5: Drink lemon ginger or peppermint tea

Both ginger & peppermint have been shown to soothe & aid w/ digestion. Adding lemon to the mix also primes the digestive tract.⠀
